After much consideration and struggle, I ultimately landed on a new HandiQuilter Amara 24 with Pro-Stitcher. This is a big difference from the Gammill Classic Plus 26” that I have been longarming on for 15 years. But quite honestly, I LOVE IT and couldn’t be happier that the journey resulted in this machine. Is it perfect? ah, no! But then again, I’m not sure any machine is. Being a long time longarmer, it took me a few days to “translate” my skills to a new make of machine. I’ve named her Ami.
